Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Network Architect with 8–12 years of experience to lead the design, evolution, and governance of our global networking ecosystem. You will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring a resilient, automated, and secure foundation across on-premises, multi-cloud, and unified communications environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap & Governance: Develop and maintain Architecture, Engineering, and Operational roadmaps. Ensure all network services align with the broader Business and IT strategy.
- Design & Architecture: Lead the design of highly available network services supporting data, voice (UC/Contact Center), and multi-cloud convergence.
- Cloud & Multi-Cloud Connectivity: Architect Cloud On-ramp solutions for Azure and AWS, ensuring seamless multi-cloud integration and performance.
- Performance Engineering: Identify and remediate scaling bottlenecks. Lead efforts to optimize latency and throughput across the global landscape.
- Automation & IaC: Drive a culture of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible to simplify deployments and improve resource productivity.
- Financial & Vendor Leadership: Conduct TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) analysis and financial modeling. Lead RFP processes, PoCs, and vendor management to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Risk & Compliance: Partner with Security and Risk teams to ensure adherence to industry standards, BCM (Business Continuity Management), and regulatory audits.
- Collaboration: Act as a technical liaison between Enterprise Architecture, PMO, and Business Units to translate complex requirements into scalable design patterns.
Technical Qualifications
Core Networking & WAN
- Expertise in WAN/SD-WAN (MPLS, VPLS, IPSec, Cisco SD-WAN, or equivalent).
- Deep knowledge of LAN/WLAN switching, wired, and wireless technologies.
- Strong understanding of Network Security principles within an enterprise framework.
Cloud & Automation
- Proven experience in Cloud Networking (Azure, AWS).
- Bonus: Experience with Ali-Cloud is a significant plus.
- Hands-on experience with Automation & Orchestration (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Familiarity with Observability & Telemetry tools for proactive monitoring.
Unified Communications
- Experience with Telephony, SIP Trunking, and Session Border Controllers (SBC).
- Bonus: Direct experience with Contact Center infrastructure and integrations.
Experience & Professional Requirements
- Total Experience: 8–12 years in Network Engineering and Operations.
- Architecture Experience: 3–5 years specifically in a Design or Architectural capacity.
- Industry Context: Previous experience in Banking, Insurance, or large-scale Enterprise environments is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong ability to build partnerships, analyze business impacts of technical choices, and lead cross-functional teams through complex migrations.
