Network Engineer - L3

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations

• Provide operational support for network infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and optimal performance.
• Monitor network performance and availability using network monitoring tools.
• Respond to network alerts and incidents within defined SLA timelines.
• Perform routine health checks, preventive maintenance, and performance tuning activities.
• Handle network requests and incidents as Level 3 (L3) Support.

Troubleshooting & Support

• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues across Data Center (DC), LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi environments.
• Investigate root causes of network incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Escalate complex technical issues to Senior Management when required.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and end users.

Configuration & Implementation

• Assist in the configuration and administration of routers, switches, and load balancers.
• Support network implementation activities and infrastructure enhancements.
• Execute network changes in accordance with approved change management procedures.

Compliance & Security

• Apply and maintain network security controls, including access management and firmware patching.
• Participate in vulnerability assessment and remediation activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal security standards and operational policies.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, incidents, and change records.
• Update network topology diagrams, asset inventories, and operational documentation.
• Prepare reports and documentation to support operational reviews and audits.
