The Role:

The Network Security Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, assessment, and integration of secure network solutions for Logicalis customers. This role requires strong technical capability and the ability to act as a consultant to the customers during deployment and internal team. This role will focus on advanced network security solutions and will work closely with presales, project managers, and SOC teams to ensure robust, resilient, and compliant network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Network Security Engineer, you will be expected to:

  • Deploy next-generation firewalls (eg Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco) and secure network infrastructure (on-prem / cloud / hybrid).
  • Ensure robust perimeter (north-south) and internal (east-west) traffic security, applying best practices for segmentation, inspection, and threat prevention across all traffic flows.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) and demos to validate solution feasibility.
  • Implement and manage VPNs (IPsec/SSL), Zero Trust segmentation, and secure branch connectivity (Meraki, SD-WAN).
  • Integrate and optimise XDR/EDR platforms.
  • Prepare and deliver design & as-built, documentation (HLD/LLD/runbooks), and presentations.
  • Deliver guided assessments, remediation planning, and technical workshops for customers.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, technical documentation, and delivery enablement.
  • Work with presales to develop go-to-market (GTM) network security solutions or services by identifying market opportunities, designing innovative offerings.
