Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Network Technician to support infrastructure deployments within a large semiconductor manufacturing facility under construction. The successful candidate will work closely with the onsite Network Team and under the guidance of Senior Network Engineers to support manufacturing tool installation and network infrastructure activities.
This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, ownership, urgency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction and manufacturing environment.

What you'll be doing:
1. Network Deployment & Support
- Support network infrastructure deployment and tool installation activities.
- Support switched network environments and basic Cisco device troubleshooting.
- Conduct basic to intermediate network troubleshooting.
- Assist with troubleshooting network connectivity and installation issues.
- Follow guidance and execution plans provided by the onsite IT and Network teams.
- Participate in project-based assignments and network support activities.
2. Cabling, Installation & Vendor Support
- Support structured cabling and wire management activities.
- Verify quality of cabling and installation works performed by vendors (e.g., Labelling quality, Cable routing and housekeeping, BCR/SCR/SCC cleanliness).
- Escalate issues to vendor management or Network Team when required.
3. Operations, Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate and prioritize daily activities based on operational urgency.
- Ensure all incidents and requests are properly logged, tracked, and closed within SLA.
- Support after-office-hours, weekend, and public holiday work when required for urgent manufacturing ramp activities.
4. Asset & Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records for network devices and related assets.
- Perform asset tagging and update asset databases/inventory systems.
What we're looking for:
1. Technical Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar technical support or network support role.
- Basic understanding of Network topology, VLANs, IP addressing.
- Familiarity with basic Cisco commands for troubleshooting and navigation.
- Knowledge of structured cabling and wire management practices.
- Experience using network testing tools (e.g., Fluke Tester) is an advantage.
- CCNA certification or currently pursuing CCNA is preferred.
- Construction Safe Pass certification is preferred.
