NETWORK F5 ENGINEER

Location: Kuala Lumpur - onsite

Salary: RM 9500- RM10,000

Job Description

The F5 Network Engineer position is the technical interface between IT departments, the business partners and all other company departments. This candidate is expected to have complete product knowledge, technical ability, and an in-depth knowledge of F5 for design and troubleshooting. Maybank is looking for a Network Engineer for load balancing/F5 troubleshooting and hands on support. They must also be good with both F5 components LTM, GTM and LC.

Responsibilities

1. Design and implement functional F5 solutions.

2. Monitor/Administer network health check, performance and integrity (BAU)

3. Resolve BAU operational issues within the agreed timeframe.

4. Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

5. Mentor team members on technical issues

6. Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)

7. Communicate with users when needed

8. Maintain complete technical documentation

9. Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability

10. Perform 24x7 standby (on rotation) and participate in Sev1 incidents.

Mandatory Technical Requirements

1. Min. 5+ years of related working experience with F5 (LTM, LC and GTM)

2. Experience with iRules function within F5 to modify, code, troubleshoot issues.

3. Industry-related experience as a F5 Network Engineer

4. Professional F5 certification

5. Good understanding in Wireshark.
