Project Overview
Client is undertaking a project to transform legacy data centers in Japan to modern systems utilizing Arista and Cisco technologies. The primary location for this project is Tokyo office.
Core Networking Skills:
- Expert-level experience with Cisco IOS and Cisco NX-OS platforms.
- Strong hands-on engineering and troubleshooting skills in large-scale enterprise networks.
- Experience designing, deploying, and supporting Layer 2/Layer 3 network architectures.
Preferred/Nice-to-Have (Generialist):
- Working knowledge of Arista EOS, with bonus points for experience in Arista's enterprise or data center deployments.
Load Balancing:
- Solid understanding of Citrix NetScaler (ADC), including HA, traffic steering, SSL offloading, health checks, and policy configuration.
Security/Firewalls:
- Strong proficiency with Palo Alto firewalls, including security policy creation and optimization, Panorama management, GlobalProtect, threat prevention tuning, and experience interpreting logs and troubleshooting security traffic flows.
Certifications:
- CCIE (hands on + Cert) Routing & Switching/Enterprise Infrastructure/Security.
Additional Senior-Level Expectations:
- Ability to operate autonomously in complex technical environments.
- Strong documentation and architecture-level design skills.
- Ability to interface effectively with global teams across regions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to leadership and peers.
