Your new role
As a Network Lead Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of corporate network infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments. You will play a key role in ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the organisation's network ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, routing, ISP connectivity, and VPNs
- Overseeing network performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting (e.g., latency, packet loss, routing issues)
- Driving network security and vulnerability management, including patching and firmware upgrades
- Supporting business continuity planning (BCP), disaster recovery (DR), and critical deployment activities
- Managing cloud network services, DNS, reverse proxy, and Anti-DDoS solutions
- Leading network upgrades, installations, and ongoing maintenance, including after-hours support
- Providing 24/7 operational support through on-call rotations
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Network Engineers
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Security, Cloud, Applications, IT Operations) to ensure seamless connectivity and compliance
- Driving network architecture improvements, automation initiatives, and Infrastructure-as-Code adoption
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in networking (operations, design, troubleshooting, and automation)
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing technical teams and delivering projects
- Industry certifications such as CCNA (CCNP/CCIE would be an added advantage)
- Strong expertise in IP addressing, VLANs, routing protocols, NAT, IPSec VPN, and SNMP
- Proven experience managing enterprise network infrastructure including cloud environments
- Familiarity with regulated or compliance-driven environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex incidents
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- A proactive mindset with the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
