Responsibilities
Technical Expertise:
- Identify and establish relationships with telecom partners to build a strong alliance partnership in each region.
- Collaborate with partners to understand their technical capabilities, network coverage especially fibre reachability and collaborate with telecom partner to support DAYONE new and existing DC campus.
- Work with internal teams and landlord to ensure fibre path and fibre access point to the DC are fully diverse and carrier neutral for new site.
- Conduct site survey and evaluation of new site. Responsible for Technical Due Diligence, working with consultant and call out risk if any
- Subject matter expert in telecommunication network, technologies and market landscape of the region. Strong sense of the market movement and pricing for submarine cable, terrestrial cable, bandwidth and IP Transit services
- Responsible for DAYONE campus and regional network planning, including inter-campus interconnect, MDF/MMR planning, cross connect and any network related services
- Responsible for any network expenditure business case and execute the purchase process for network resources.
- Develop network services and work with internal product team to ensure the network services are productised. Accountable for the network product performance and ensure the services are meeting the customer requirements.
- Support customer visits and actively participate in customer network-related inquiries and RFPs/RFIs. Ensure responses to customer inquiries and RFP/RFI documents are submitted timely.
- Responsible for all the regulatory and licencing related matters, ensure all the network activities are comply to the local regulatory rule and regulation. Good understanding of the telecom licencing and regulatory regime in the region.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in telecommunications field, product development and develop network solution.
- Strong technical background and understanding of networking, fibre, submarine cable, terrestrial, DWDM and internet technologies.
- Proven ability to develop and nurture relationships with telecommunication service providers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
