KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The New Business Director will focus on new business acquisition and sales performance within Malaysia. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and capturing new client opportunities and effectively increasing the company's revenue and market share.

The New Business Director Will: 

  • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our client base and increasing market penetration in winning advertising campaigns
  • Develop and execute effective sales lead generation and that align with company goals and client needs, with a focus on digital and influencer marketing solutions.
  • Lead initial client engagements, presentations, and negotiations to secure new accounts and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership team to set and achieve sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Provide input on product development and service offerings based on market feedback and emerging trends.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape and continuously seek opportunities for growth and innovation.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • 2 to 3 years proven track record in sales, business development, and new client acquisition within digital advertising, influencer marketing, social media and/or traditional media industries.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to convert strategies into actionable plans.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Sound understanding of digital marketing trends
  • Strategies and decisions.
