Job Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To go through assignment brief and shoot visuals according to brief & editorial requirements.
Work & deliver according to Standard Operating Procedures & Standard Work Flow Procedures.
Produce best quality visuals.
To suggest shots for news & current affairs programs to the reporter/producer/director & video editor.
Operate studio camera for news & program according to studio directors requirement.
To operate sound & lighting for location and studio shoot.
Basic editing and sending back visuals from location via FTP.
Assist & support editorial teams of bulletin & non-bulletin shows in terms of visuals.
Requirements
Degree / Diploma with 3 years working experience in related field.
Minimum 1 year experience in camera operation.
Experience in camera work in broadcast news or news related programming.
Timely ability to deliver good quality visuals under pressure.
Keen interest & understanding of news & current affairs.
Bilingual – fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
Good knowledge of latest TV & broadcast technology.
Meticulous & methodical.
Good team player.
Knowledge of technical aspect of camera will be an added advantage.
