The Role
- Oversee daily operations of the Operating Theatre, ensuring optimal staffing, workflow efficiency, and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Lead, mentor, and support the OT nursing team to maintain high standards of patient care and surgical safety.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination and timely execution of surgical procedures.
- Ensure compliance with infection control standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies within the OT environment.
The Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Advanced certifications in specialised nursing areas (Post Basics)
- Additional certifications in nursing leadership or administration are a plus.
