Our client from the USA has provided professional in-home nursing and HHA services since 2009, serving both Medicaid and Private-Pay clients. Committed to delivering compassionate, personalized care, they work closely with clients and families to meet each individual's unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule Field Nurses based on patient care needs, active physician orders, and nurse availability
- Maintain ongoing communication with nurses regarding assignments, visit confirmations, attendance, and schedule changes
- Ensure all physician orders and care plans are active and accurately documented prior to scheduled visits
- Manage nurse schedules using HHA Exchange, including monthly service calendars and real-time updates
- Confirm completed visits and process time-sensitive field paperwork for weekly payroll submission
- Monitor nurse attendance, missed visits, late visits, and call-outs; arrange coverage as needed
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, nurses, and physicians to support quality home care services
- Answer incoming phone calls and communicate with patients, families, physicians, and staff in a professional and reassuring manner
- Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Communicate staffing challenges, scheduling concerns, and difficult-to-staff cases with the Director and internal team
- Participate in on-call rotation with other scheduling team members
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English, with strong Mandarin and Cantonese language skills (spoken and written) required to effectively communicate with customers
- Responsible and reliable with a strong sense of accountability
- Professional, friendly, and approachable communication style
- Medical or Nursing background is a strong advantage
- Available to work remotely Monday through Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM Eastern Time (corresponding to evening hours in Malaysia).
