Role Purpose
Reporting to the Area Nutritional Manager, this field-based role is responsible for engaging Health Care Professionals (HCPs) through product detailing, presentations, and the latest nutrition science updates. You will build strong professional relationships to secure active medical endorsements for our product range, driving demand generation that delivers measurable results across the business.
Some of the key areas you would own include:
- Making planned calls targeted to key HCPs in the database at frequencies that have been spelt out in Key Performance Indicator (KPI) to achieve effective coverage at optimum cost & time required.
- To support and implement all activities as instituted by Medical Sales Team.
- To always maintain an up-to-date reporting system on targeted HCPs which highlights recommendation patterns & other relevant information.
- To maintain accurate reports of expenses incurred as prescribed at end of every month
- To submit all reports as required by company on set time.
- To identify potential hospitals/confinement homes to obtain milk rotations and /or recommendations and secure as planned in agreed objectives.
- To ensure that all professional goods & promotional materials are distributed to hospitals/confinement homes/clinics under their care. This includes periodic checks on such items to ensure effective use by HCPs.
- Organise/participate in medical congresses, Health exhibitions, public forums either organised by medical societies or company to create awareness and obtain endorsement from HCPs.
- To have a thorough knowledge of and comply with company policies & practices as per company handbook and training manual.
Skills and Experience:
To be considered for this role, we are seeking applicants with:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related Science discipline.
- At least 1–2 years of sales experience in GP, hospital, general trade, or similar channels. Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of healthcare institutions and commercial managed care environments, with prior experience selling to healthcare professionals or institutions being preferred.
- Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to make prompt, informed decisions to deliver results. Demonstrates sound business acumen and a proven track record in driving market growth and expanding market share.
- Possess a valid driver's license, own transportation, and a willingness to travel as required.
- Availability for weekend duty is expected 1 or 2 times monthly, subject to project demands and marketing-related activities.
- Mandarin proficiency would be an added advantage to align with future business planning and territory coverage.
