Job Overview:
The Nutritionist cum Business Development Executive will play a dual role in:
1. Business Development Actively sourcing new clients, managing key accounts, and expanding our OEM partnerships.
2. Product Formulation Developing and optimizing science-based nutritional and supplement formulations in line with client requirements.
This role requires a blend of nutritional expertise, sales acumen, and client relationship management to drive business growth while ensuring high-quality product development.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Management:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the skincare and health supplements sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients (brands, distributors, retailers).
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and potential niches.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and product concepts to clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions to promote company services.
Nutritional Formulation & Product Development:
- Develop customized supplement and skincare formulations based on client needs.
- Ensure formulations comply with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to refine formulations for efficacy, stability, and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical support to clients, including label claims, ingredient benefits, and compliance guidance.
- Stay updated on the latest scientific research, ingredient innovations, and industry regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or related field.
Experience:
- Experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in supplements/nutraceuticals/skincare OEM) is a bonus. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Hands-on experience in supplement formulation, product development, or regulatory compliance is not necessary. Training will be provided.
- Skills:
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a client-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (fluency in additional languages besides English is a plus).
- Technical knowledge of raw materials, bioavailability, and supplement manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Ability to interpret scientific research and translate it into marketable product concepts.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
