Alpha Paragrine is a thesis-driven crypto investment fund focused on on-chain yield and high-conviction liquid token strategies. We are seeking an On-chain Analyst who can monitor real-time blockchain activity, detect emerging opportunities, and surface actionable alpha for the investment team.

Role Description

As an On-chain Analyst, you will play a critical role in tracking real-time on-chain flows, monitoring DeFi ecosystems, and identifying opportunities before the market reacts. This position is ideal for crypto-native individuals with strong analytical skills, on-chain intuition, and the ability to spot trends early.

Responsibilities:

Monitor real-time on-chain flows (whale movements, liquidity shifts, protocol launches) to detect alpha signals.

Conduct independent research on yield farming opportunities, airdrop campaigns, and emerging protocols.

Source and analyze on-chain data using analytics platforms and light scripting.

Track security developments, governance proposals, and market events that could impact DeFi strategies.

Collaborate with the investment team to optimize yield farming and liquidity strategies.

Prepare timely insights and reports with actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of DeFi protocols, yield farming, and airdrop ecosystems.

Hands-on experience with on-chain analytics tools (Arkham, DeFi Llama, Nansen, Dune, chain explorers).

Ability to interpret blockchain data (SQL or Python scripting a plus, but not mandatory).

Strong problem-solving and pattern recognition skills to detect trends early.

Proficiency in Chinese and English is mandatory.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

SQL or Python proficiency for data querying, scripting, and automation.

Knowledge of blockchain security incidents and exploit patterns.

Optional: Basic coding knowledge in JavaScript/TypeScript or experience with dashboards (Dune, Grafana, Streamlit).
