1. Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and validate business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and integrated solution designs.
- Design and develop end-to-end OpenText ECM and xECM solutions across multiple geographies and technologies.
- Own technical accountability for successful solution delivery in collaboration with Project Managers and business stakeholders.
- Execute unit, system, and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables before business handover.
- Collaborate with project teams on planning, effort estimation, and resolution of defects and issues.
- Conduct workshops with business users to map processes to ECM solutions, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve post-deployment production issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
2. Skills & Competencies
a. Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in OpenText ECM product suite implementation and support on medium to large-scale projects.
- Strong expertise in OpenText ECM products such as Content Server, xECM, SAP Archiving, and SharePoint AGA.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, SOAP, REST, WSDL, Web Services, Core Java, C#, and CSS.
- Solid database knowledge including SQL, triggers, stored procedures, and experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, or MySQL.
- Exposure to infrastructure sizing, High Availability (HA), and Disaster Recovery (DR).
- Experience with collaborative tools such as Brava (Content Server, SharePoint, SAP) and OpenText Rendition Server (Blazon).
b. OpenText Module Experience
Hands-on experience in configuring at least three of the following modules:
- Records Management
- Classifications / RM Classifications
- Workflows / Advanced Workflows
- LiveReports / Web Reports
- Forms
- Physical Objects
c. Additional Requirements
- Proven track record of delivering ECM projects across multiple industries, preferably including Oil & Gas.
