Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Nurse for a full-time, on-site role at our Tebrau location. The Operating Room Nurse will play a key role in preparing the surgical environment, assisting surgeons during procedures, managing surgical instruments, ensuring patient care before, during, and after surgical interventions, and maintaining sterile conditions. The nurse will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to deliver a safe and efficient surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in operating room procedures, including preparing and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Proficiency in nursing practices with a strong understanding of patient care and support in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative settings.
• Familiarity with surgical techniques and assisting surgeons during general and specialized surgical procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Licensed Nursing qualification and current registration with the applicable nursing regulatory body.
• Demonstrated expertise in patient safety standards, infection control practices, and emergency response in a medical setting.
• Prior experience in operating room nursing or relevant certification is preferred.
