Company Background:
Our client is an established manufacturer specializing in power transmission belt solutions for automotive, industrial, and agricultural applications. With manufacturing facilities across Asia and a global distribution network spanning multiple regions, the company delivers high-quality products through advanced manufacturing technology, stringent quality standards, and continuous R&D innovation.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily import and export operations, including shipment coordination, booking, and document preparation.
- Prepare and verify all trade documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.).
- Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and internal company policies.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers to monitor shipment schedules and resolve operational issues.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure timely submission of all trade-related documentation.
- Collaborate with the sales and procurement teams to align shipment timelines with business requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in import/export operations, preferably within the automotive, industrial, or agricultural spare parts industry.
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, Incoterms, and customs clearance processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Preferably Chinese-speaking candidates to facilitate communication with the China side.
Salary Range: RM4k - RM6k
