Mission of the Role
Responsible for acquiring, developing and maintaining new business in all areas including Agri, Minerals, Consumer Goods, GTS and other commercials, and for managing all operational, financial and administrative duties of the branch in full understanding of client business and challenges within the Cotecna Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore, identify, contact and prospect potential customers convert into sales/revenue.
- Work closely with Country Manager or RO to develop new business or new project.
- Manage and grow the sales of the existing clients by capturing additional products and/or by extending our Business Services especially in Mineral and Palm Oil sectors.
- Weekly clients visit/sale visit to maintain the relationship with existing clients.
- Writing business proposals/contracts & ensure proper follow-up of his clients orders.
- Coordinate with executives and supervisors to ensure the smooth running of the branch offices.
- Implement cost efficiency.
- Ensure the branch office comply to the Group QHSE requirement.
- Work with HR to provide technical and other training program to the staff.
- Work with FM and collection team on the DSO.
- Submit monthly report to Country Manager to update his monthly revenue against the budget revenue and potential new project or business.
Qualifications, Experience and Technical Skills
- Graduate from University or equivalent, with a broad international experience in the field of inspection.
- Successful 10 years experience of management and capability to work in a team and under pressure.
- Well organized, methodical, accurate, flexible, benefiting of several years of experience in execution of inspection orders.
- Should be able to mentor, develop and lead the team.
- Good knowledge of the various Cotecna products and services.
- Has a strong commercial awareness, understand business and customer expectations.
- Has strong financial and cost-effectiveness skills (Budget, P&L, Investments)
- Management skills in development and establishment of project.
- Has a comprehensive understanding of the techniques of a business support services company.
- Have excellent communication skills, both in written and spoken English.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
