Job Description

Job Description:

  • Support day-to-day operations planning and operational validation across SPX Express last-mile delivery operations, including handling ad-hoc operational and BPO-related requests.
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders to assess operational requirements, validate processes and identify gaps or issues that may impact operational performance.
  • Support courier route planning and optimisation using internal fleet systems, considering geographical coverage, travelling distance, courier capacity and other operational constraints.
  • Analyse operational and courier performance data to identify trends, root causes and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify and implement small-scale process improvements to improve operational efficiency, productivity and overall service performance.
  • Coordinate and project manage operational initiatives from planning through implementation, working closely with cross-functional teams and ground operations.
  • Develop dashboards, analytical tools and templates to support operational monitoring, validation and decision-making.
  • Work closely with ground operations to understand day-to-day operational challenges and translate insights into practical solutions.
  • Support the development and implementation of new processes, including updating SOPs and supporting training where required.
  • Prepare proposals, performance updates and reports for presentation to management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and provide support on other operational planning and improvement initiatives as required.
  • Willingness to conduct short-distance travel to hubs when required to understand operational issues and support implementation.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work with data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets / Excel and Google Slides, with the ability to analyse data, build templates and prepare management presentations.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities independently.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both HQ and ground operations teams.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment with changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with last-mile delivery, logistics or BPO operations is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to hubs within Malaysia is an advantage.
