The impact you'll make
Join Lam as an Operations Business Analyst, where you'll spearhead process improvement initiatives. With your data expertise, you collect and analyze data through a range of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and apps, develop metrics, and identify root causes with data-driven indicators for future improvements. Organizing cross-functional project teams, you communicate team progress and survey best practices, showcasing your commitment to operational excellence at Lam.
What You'll Do
- Will drive program management initiatives and supply chain optimization, acting as a key liaison between business operations and leadership.
- The ideal candidate will confidently present to senior management, respond promptly to leadership requests, and ensure seamless execution of cross-functional projects.
- The primary focus of this position is on inventory management analysis & execution.
- The operations business analyst will monitor inventory levels and activity in order to identify any potential excess or obsolete (E&O) inventory with the goal of eliminating or mitigating any negative impact.
- The analyst will perform root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improving overall inventory management as well as mitigation execution for excess depletion.
Who We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Proven ability to communicate confidently and effectively with executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in program management within a supply chain or operations environment.
- Strong track record of responding promptly and effectively to management requests and business needs.
- Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience in change management for inventory related projects and programs.
- Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
- Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
- Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
- Collects data to identify root cause of problems. Measures performance against process requirements.
- Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
- Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
- Performs cost and benefit analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in supply chain program management, operations analytics, or business process improvement.
- Ability to drive process improvements and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and SAP.
- Experience in Kinaxis Environment would be added as an advantage

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
