Operations Director

Our client is a fast-growing AI-driven automotive marketing and technology company helping brands and dealerships transform customer engagement through AI-powered content, live commerce, CRM solutions, and digital growth platforms across Southeast Asia.

As they expand their regional footprint, we are looking for a highly driven Operations Director to lead and scale their Malaysia operations.

This is a leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and enjoys building operational excellence while partnering closely with commercial, product, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day business operations in Malaysia
• Build scalable operational processes, SOPs, and performance frameworks
• Drive operational efficiency, automation, and KPI management
• Partner with sales, marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure seamless execution
• Support regional business expansion and organizational scaling
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting
• Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing operational teams
• Work closely with senior leadership and founders on strategic initiatives
• Ensure strong client delivery standards and operational excellence

Requirements

• 8–15+ years of experience in operations, business operations, or general management leadership roles
• Experience in high-growth, startup, scale-up, SaaS, digital, AI, martech, automotive-tech, or technology-driven environments preferred
• Strong track record in scaling teams and operational processes
• Excellent stakeholder and cross-functional management skills
• Commercially minded with strong execution capability
• Experience managing KPIs, reporting, and operational performance
• Comfortable working in fast-paced and evolving environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Regional Southeast Asia exposure is an advantage
