Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS 

  • Assist Operations Excellence Lead to drive process standardization and project implementation.
  • Align business process standardization strategy with regional direction & strategy to drive process standardization across different business activities.
  • Propose & implement business process improvements through available methods/automation tools to support business & project development throughout project life cycle. 
  • Review business process improvement solutions to determine risks, feasibility & effectiveness.
  • Propose ways to eliminate gaps and weaknesses in business operations.
  • Propose & implement operational policies, standards and procedures by creating flowcharts, process maps or any other visualization tools.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with Business Users/PIC. 
  • Work collaboratively to assist in the design and implementation with cross functional teams. 
  • Consult subject matter expert on business operation processes and/or technical team on technical requirements.
  • Participate/lead project meetings & workshops to understand As-Is business process & develop improved & standardized To-Be business process at operational level. 
  • Participate/lead data cleansing activities with business stakeholders and technical team.
  • Facilitate the completion of key activities and milestones in operational projects. 
  • Manage stakeholders & monitor completion of requirements and activities. 
  • Monitor & evaluate standardized process to ensure adherence to quality & standard procedures.
  • Provide expertise and training to users across all supporting countries. 
  • Lead Digital Transformation – support & collaborate with DX champion/specialists & business users to drive & implement DX initiatives across all entities.
  • Upskill/reskill business users knowledge in relation to DX projects requirements to ensure deliverables from projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 5 years of experience in operations/continuous improvement in a shared service centre for finance operations (P2P, O2C, R2R) and/or non-finance operations.
  • At least 2 years of experience in driving & implementing process improvement & standardization initiatives thru DX strategy.
  • Experience working in an ERP accounting environment, using such systems as Oracle, Microsoft Power Platform and/or Esker/Ariba is a must.
  • Understanding & competence in implementing process improvement & standardization initiatives with the knowledge of DX & related tools is a must.
  • Understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
  • Knowledge of Accounting Policy is an advantage Experience working in shared service centre environment.
  • Experience in ERP integration for new ERP system rollout Experience in Project Management/Project Management Office
  • Experience with multi-faceted business transformation/automation initiatives across multiple geographies and business units
  • Ability to negotiate with all levels of management, both internally and externally 
  • Solid PC skills and is proficient in the use of applications in the MS-Office suite, including MS-Excel
