CLASQUIN SINGAPORE PTE LTD is recruiting an Operations Executive – Sea Freight(Export), for its office located in Malaysia(KL), to handle export sea freight operations.
About the Role
The Operations Executive will be responsible for managing export sea freight operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Drive customer satisfaction, retention and engagement
- Communicate with our customers in executing export bookings.
- Update Shiva(Customer portal)
- Shipping line Rates Procurement and negotiation
- Maintain good carrier relationship
- Coordinate with shipping lines, co-loaders, agent, warehouse, and transport companies for all operational activities on daily basis.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable Customs and port regulations
- Generating shipping documents (i.e. invoice, packing list, BL, HBL, etc.)
- Handle customs permit declaration on Tradenet
- Maintaining and updating operational information and documents on CargoWise
- Create, update and refine customer reports
- Perform accurate and timely cost & revenue updates on job files in accordance with corporate KPI; resolution of billing discrepancies with clients and Clasquin Internal
- Generating freight invoices
- Collaborate with finance in monitoring credit limits and assist in case of challenges
- Support and resolve claims
- Accomplish other ad hoc tasks given by the Manager per his/her competence
- Ensure compliance with the established QMS requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience in Freight Forwarding operations
- Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent is a plus
- Experienced in Cargowise is a plus
Required Skills
- Reliable, positive working attitude, pro-active and customer service oriented.
- Is a good team player, willing to share/help
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Freight Forwarding operations
- Knowledge of Cargowise
