Operations & Incubation Associate – SemiconStart

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated professional to support the execution of a semiconductor-focused incubation programme in Malaysia. This is a hands-on, operations-driven role at the heart of building and managing a startup ecosystem.

You will work closely with the Programme Director to coordinate startups, support their development, and engage with the broader ecosystem to identify collaboration and investment opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and support startups throughout the incubation programme (onboarding, training, progress tracking)
• Work closely with founders to ensure engagement, delivery, and programme outcomes
• Organize training sessions, workshops, and mentorship activities
• Build and maintain relationships with ecosystem partners (industry, investors, institutions)
• Identify and support evaluation of high-potential startups and investment opportunities
• Handle day-to-day operations and logistics of the programme, including local travel across Malaysia

Who You Are

·      3–8 years of experience in in a relevant field (semiconductors, technology, consulting, venture capital, or investment)

·      Strong interest or exposure to the semiconductor value chain

·      Highly proactive, organized, and execution-focused

·      Comfortable working directly with founders and multiple stakeholders

• Curious about new technologies and venture building
• Based in Kuala Lumpur
