Job Description

Our client is an established F&B group operating multiple food courts, known for consistent quality, operational discipline, and strong growth plans. They are currently looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, people management, and performance across their outlets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end food court operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and consistent execution.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate operational activities to achieve business, productivity, and profitability targets.
  • Manage and develop restaurant managers, operations support staff, and frontline teams.
  • Drive operational efficiency through standard operating procedures, cost controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide coaching and feedback to build strong, engaged teams.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Maintenance, etc.) to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards at all outlets.
  • Handle manpower planning, recruitment, training, and succession planning.
  • Proactively manage operational risks and implement contingency or crisis management plans when required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food court, restaurant chain, or multi-outlet F&B operations.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and retain teams.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, cost control, inventory management, and manpower planning.
  • Familiarity with food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance standards.
  • Good financial and analytical skills to monitor performance and meet business targets.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Hands-on, resilient, and able to perform well in a fast-paced, operational environment.
