About the Role
Responsibilities include planning, communication with raw material procurement, and administration of quality and management systems.
Job Responsibilities
Planning
- Refer latest weekly or monthly production schedule provide by marketing and plan for require furnish and specific production grade
- Communicate with raw material procurement on special arrangement such as delivery of pulp from external warehouse and direct loading
- Communicate with raw material procurement on weekly delivery plan for import and local delivery (for manpower allocation)
Admin
Admin - Quality and Management System Steering Committee (QMSSC)-pollution team
- Assist monitor, evaluate the workplace compliance and up-grade the present pollution prevention.
- Assist find alternative ways of preventing pollution.
- Assist to identify new parameters of pollutants that needs to be controlled.
- Assist to monitor the present pollution condition of air, water, land, noise etc.
- Assist to formulate and implement pollution prevention activities and programs.
Admin - Department representative for QMSSC
- Update department quality objective, management program, risk & opportunity
- Raise quality complaint to Raw Material Procurement team related to recovered paper quality issue
- Determine and collect the evident for quality complaint
Admin - Department representative for FSC
- Attend the FSC audits & training
- Do the FSC traceability exercise (monthly)
- Ensure all FSC material is use for FSC end product & vise verse
Operations
Operation – Manpower
- Plan for manpower replacement, overtime and mobilization
- Optimization manpower in Operation
- Attend for disciplinary issue such as bad attendance, late coming, high MC, etc.
Operation – Machinery
- Check and ensure all ISO registered equipment validity calibration date is in order
- Follow up on the machinery breakdown issue such as forklift breakdown, floor scale breakdown, drill machine, radiation scanner, MMT equipment, etc.
Operation – Method
- Enhance current SOP follow with new process or regulation
- Ensure current method is safe and follow HSE requirement
Operation - Quality & reporting
- Ensure the daily and monthly stock count is in order
- To confirm the Yield and to check any abnormalities such as PM breakdown, backlog, high reject form SP, low moisture detection, etc.
- To guide and motivate staff as follow current SOP
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor Degree in any relevant field.
- Preferably possess experience in warehouse management and people management.
- Experienced in managing material handling equipment (managerial role).
- Possess statistical and analytical capabilities.
- Exhibit strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Possess sound coaching and delegating abilities.
