Our client is a precision engineering company setting up a greenfield manufacturing plant in Selangor. They are looking for a pioneer with strong technical depth to build the site from the ground up and lead it into operations.
The Role
This is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for the end-to-end setup, commissioning, and ramp-up of a new precision engineering facility. You will be the technical and operational driver on the ground, working closely with HQ to establish a scalable, high-quality manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead greenfield plant setup: layout, equipment selection, installation, and commissioning
- Provide strong technical leadership in precision engineering and machining processes
- Drive production trials, ramp-up, and process stabilisation
- Establish manufacturing standards, workflows, and KPIs
- Support hiring, onboarding, and development of the initial technical team
- Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance from day one
Requirements
- Strong background in precision engineering / precision machining
- Proven experience in factory setup, expansion, or new line commissioning
- Hands-on, technically strong, and comfortable in ambiguous, start-up environments
- Self-driven pioneer mindset with the ability to build and troubleshoot
