We are currently partnering with a well-established MNC manufacturing company in Johor Bahru to appoint a Operational Manager to lead and drive end-to-end plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations for a site of 50 employees (mix of managers and engineers)
- Oversee production, quality, warehouse, logistics, and planning functions
- Drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and site performance to ensure profitability and cost control
- Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions where needed
- Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to support business growth
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Work alongside the commercial team to support customer requirements and business growth
Ideal Profile
- Proven experience in site leadership / plant management / operations leadership
- Strong background in manufacturing environments (high-volume preferred)
- Strong operational mindset (production, quality, supply chain) with business acumen
- Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
- Familiarity with medical device quality standards (ISO13485) and controlled cleanroom environment (ISO Class 8 level) is an advantage
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
