Job Description

Operations Manager will be accountable in delivering following task:

1. Lead the commercial growth of Peterson Solutions Malaysia, ensuring strong year-on-year expansion through strategic business development, market penetration and client acquisition.

2. Drive revenue generation and deliver company financial targets, including proactive sales planning, forecasting, pipeline tracking, and timely reporting of all commercial KPIs.

3. Develop, implement and maintain the 5-year Country Business Plan with clear business development strategies, growth milestones, and commercial performance indicators.

4. Build, mentor and grow a commercially driven talent team, including setting BD-related KPIs, assessing performance, enhancing sales capability, and overseeing recruitment for growth roles.

5. Engage actively with new and existing clients, industry partners and stakeholders to secure new opportunities, expand service offerings, and strengthen long-term business relationships.

6. Position Peterson Solutions Malaysia as a trusted, high-value provider in the market, including leading promotional activities, strengthening brand presence, and ensuring service delivery that supports client retention and upselling.

7. Identify, assess and mitigate business and commercial risks, including contract risks, project delivery risks, and financial exposure related to new business ventures.

8. Conduct meetings as required, ensuring all reports, commercial updates, opportunity pipelines and strategic recommendations are presented clearly and on time.

9. Develop and maintain a strong business development and sales pipeline, supported by effective talent attraction, capability development and retention strategies to sustain growth momentum.

10. Map and manage key external stakeholders, including government bodies, industry associations, certification schemes, and priority clients, ensuring consistent engagement and partnership development.
