Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead supply acquisition and operational programs across East Asia markets. This role will focus on designing and executing scalable sourcing strategies, improving operational processes, managing cross-functional projects, and using data-driven insights to support business growth.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in operations, program/project management, stakeholder management, data analysis, and process optimization. You should be comfortable working with regional and global teams and driving initiatives from planning through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to build and scale high-quality freelancer and talent supply across East Asia markets.
- Utilize various sourcing tools and platforms to attract and monitor qualified candidate pools.
- Design, launch, and manage operational programs and processes to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, and progress, and communicate updates to management and key stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional and regional teams to resolve operational issues and ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct data analysis to identify sourcing trends, funnel performance, user behavior, and operational improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain dashboards to measure sourcing penetration, efficiency, and overall program performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and technology-driven operational efficiency.
- Support the development and expansion of scalable sourcing channels and engagement programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations, Strategy, Project Management, Program Management, and/or Business Development.
- Strong end-to-end project and program management experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel
- Google Sheets
- SQL
- Data analysis and dashboard reporting
- Strong ability to analyze data and translate insights into practical business actions.
- Excellent English communication skills with the ability to work effectively with regional and global stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a startup, technology, marketplace, or platform environment.
- Experience in business development, partnerships, or supply acquisition.
- Experience with automation, CRM experiments, or technology-enabled sourcing programs.
- Additional APAC language proficiency is an advantage.
- Knowledge of East Asia labor markets, regulations, and cultural nuances is an advantage.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
