Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Operation Officer in UOB Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the bank's operations department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the branch. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing Transactions: Prepare and process transactions such as stop payments, account closures, and refunds according to the set procedures.
- Monitor Account Statements: Regularly monitor account statements for any suspicious or fraudulent activities.
- Manage Customer Inquiries: Handle customer inquiries related to their accounts and provide prompt responses.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of all transactions and correspondence for future reference.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments within the bank to resolve issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on transaction processing and account monitoring activities.
- Training: Provide training and guidance to new employees on the processes and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the operation processes and propose solutions.
- Adherence to Policies: Ensure compliance with the bank's policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1 year experience in operations or customer service roles.
Strong knowledge of banking operations and financial regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Flexible working hours and able to work during office hours.
Strict adherence to confidentiality and security protocols.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Attention to details and accuracy.
Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills.
