Job Description

Role Summary

Responsible for accurate and timely processing of corporate actions across investment products. Ensures proper interpretation of event notifications, entitlement calculations, elections, and reconciliations while meeting market deadlines, controls, and regulatory standards. Collaborates with custodians, accounting, settlements, and internal teams to reduce risk and financial impact.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end corporate actions (dividends, mergers, rights issues, redemptions, reorganizations).

Interpret and validate event details from custodians and issuers.

Calculate entitlements and submit elections within deadlines.

Reconcile postings across custody, accounting, and internal systems.

Investigate and resolve breaks or failed events.

Support accounting, cash movements, and position updates.

Maintain audit trails and assist with audits.

Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.

Skills & Experience

Technical

Strong knowledge of corporate actions lifecycle and event types.

Familiarity with custody, settlement, and portfolio accounting.

Experience with SWIFT MT56x messages; equities and fixed income.

Behavioral

Detail-oriented, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.

Effective under tight deadlines with clear communication skills.

Risk-aware and control-focused.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

26+ years in corporate actions or post-trade operations.
