Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Oracle DBA with strong experience in database administration and real-time data replication using Oracle GoldenGate. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining high availability, performance, and security of Oracle database environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Oracle database environments (installation, configuration, upgrades)
- Implement and support real-time data replication using Oracle GoldenGate
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize queries
- Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) setups
- Perform backup and recovery operations (RMAN, Data Pump)
- Troubleshoot database and replication issues
- Support database migration and upgrade activities with minimal downtime
- Implement security, patching, and compliance measures
- Work closely with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams
- Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Required Skills & Experience:
5–8 years of experience as an Oracle DBA
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Oracle Database (11g / 12c / 19c or above)
- Oracle GoldenGate (setup, configuration, troubleshooting)
Good knowledge of:
- RMAN backups and recovery
- Performance tuning (AWR, ASH reports)
- SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience with HA/DR solutions
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
- Understanding of database security best practices
