Job Description:

Reporting to the Associate Director of Business Systems, the Functional Analyst is responsible for Oracle Application support for Finance modules covering customizations, extensions, and integrations to existing applications. The Analyst is expected to work on-site providing solutions to business requirements, configuration changes, production support, troubleshooting including root cause analysis and data corrections, development activities and managing custom application development projects, customizations, and extensions of Oracle Applications. This position calls for working closely with functional and business users to understand requirements and turn them into designs (Solution/Technical) and specifications. A strong background in Finance and a thorough understanding of the underlying technical architecture of Oracle Applications (Finance) is necessary. Needs to be able to communicate with Finance Business users at the same Level, requiring fluency in all Finance business processes. Excellent interpersonal as well as good verbal and written communication skills combined with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities and duties:

Act as Application support analyst to company's Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) ERP – ONSITE

Review, implement, update, document plans, effort and designs across multiple projects and tasks

Design, configure and conduct UAT on Oracle EBS features and related applications and system improvements.

Delivering technical solutions using best practice development standards.

Develop new applications and extensions based on user requirements.

Troubleshoot problems and resolve issues, identify root causes, workarounds, and corrective actions with Oracle Finance applications.

Support and troubleshoot existing applications including Forms, Reports, Interfaces, and applications related to Oracle EBS.

Diligently work with other IT groups on projects, remediations and incidents,

Coordinate with onsite/offshore teams.

Requirements:

Strong background in all Finance business processes and an ability to effectively communicate with Finance users

5-7+ years of relevant experience with Oracle EBS 12i (R12.2.10) – Oracle Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM). Knowledge of Inventory, SCP, Purchasing, Order Management is desirable.

Strong understanding of EBS Data Model and Architecture, PL/SQL programming, Oracle OA Framework, Forms, Reports, and Workflow.

Experience in debugging SQL packages, functions, and procedures

Experience with APEX and RPA is highly desired.

Semiconductor industry experience is a plus.

Ability to manage projects and coordinate with hybrid onsite/offshore teams.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience is required. A Finance or Accounting supplementary education is a big plus.
