Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of Zipangu to ensure smooth service and optimal guest satisfaction
- Maintain high service standards in line with Shangri-La brand expectations and Japanese dining etiquette
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the service team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Ensure consistency in food and beverage quality, service delivery, and overall restaurant cleanliness
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally to enhance the dining experience
- Coordinate closely with Culinary, Stewarding, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations
- Monitor cost control, inventory usage, and operational expenses to achieve financial targets
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Management
- Minimum 23 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role within F&B
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a service team
- Excellent communication skills with good command of spoken and written English
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and dining service is an added advantage
- Strong understanding of service standards, guest relations, and restaurant operations
- Good knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and compliance standards
- Cost-conscious with basic financial and inventory management skills
- Flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
