Reports to: Director of Overseas Business
Responsibilities
Market Development: Assist in formulating and executing the company's Southeast Asia market expansion plan; gather information on target countries government digitalization, media monitoring, public safety, brand insight, and DICT industry trends
Client Development: Identify leads and conduct initial outreach and needs discussions with government agencies, DICT companies, government IT system integrators, and other potential clients
Channel Partner Development: Identify and maintain local partners; help advance supplier or consultant-based partnership models
Pre-sales Support: Work with overseas business, product, pre-sales, and technical teams to prepare product introductions, solution materials, client demos, requirement documentation, meeting minutes, and follow-up plans
Business Coordination: Assist in business negotiations, quotation discussions, and contract processes
Localization Support: Provide language, cultural, business etiquette, and client communication insights, as well as market intelligence, for Malaysia and Southeast Asia
Long-term On-site Development: After relocation to Kuala Lumpur, represent the company in client visits, partner maintenance, trade shows, business meetings, and regional market expansion
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above; 2025/2026 fresh graduates or those within 1 year of graduation preferred; majors in marketing, international business, information management, computer software, or related fields preferred
Malaysian nationality, or long-term study/residence in Malaysia with familiarity with the local business environment preferred; understanding of Malaysian and Southeast Asian multicultural, business communication, and market norms
Fluent in both Chinese and English as working languages, with strong written communication, meeting facilitation, and business email skills; proficiency in Malay or other Southeast Asian languages is a plus
Strong interest in AI software, government/enterprise digitalization, media monitoring, public safety, brand insight, data analytics, or B2G solution sales
Outgoing and proactive, skilled at relationship-building, with clear communication, active listening, cross-cultural communication, and follow-up abilities
Quick learner able to grasp software products, technical concepts, and solution logic; willing to undergo systematic headquarters training and job rotations
Results-driven, able to adapt to business travel, client visits, cross-time-zone communication, and the uncertainties of overseas business development
Willing to complete approximately 1 year of training in Shanghai, and, upon passing evaluation, relocate to Kuala Lumpur for long-term business development
