Manage on-site quality issues for KD (Knock-Down) vehicle parts at overseas manufacturing plants, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and lead the local IQC (Incoming Quality Control) team to ensure effective quality management.
Act as the primary quality interface between overseas plants and China SQE teams, driving root cause analysis and supplier corrective actions to eliminate quality issues at the source.
Support supplier sourcing, qualification, and nomination for localized components in overseas markets.
Lead APQP activities, PV (Product Validation), and PPAP approval for localized suppliers to ensure successful new product introduction and production readiness.
Drive continuous improvement of localized supplier quality performance during mass production, ensuring product consistency, process capability, and manufacturing stability.
Lead supplier quality improvement activities for field/warranty issues, driving corrective and preventive actions to improve customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
Previous experience in Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) or quality management within the automotive industry is preferred.
Familiar with the APQP process for new vehicle programs, including quality planning, process control, and product launch management.
Good understanding of the IATF 16949 quality management system and/or VDA 6.3 process audits; experience in supplier quality system audits is preferred.
Proficient in automotive quality tools and methodologies, including 8D problem solving, 5 Whys, SPC, FMEA, and other core quality tools.
Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English as a working language.
