Job Title: P2P Specialist
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (hybrid 1/2 days per week in office)
Type: Full-time, permanent
About The Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and accountable P2P Specialist to support our Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) operations. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay cycle, from purchase order creation through to invoice processing and payment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong supplier relationships.
This is a great opportunity for an accounting graduate or early-career finance professional who enjoys structured processes, problem-solving, and working with both internal and external stakeholders in an international environment.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor and intercompany invoices and credit notes accurately, ensuring correct coding, approvals, currency, and three-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice)
- Validate invoice details including ABN, GST treatment, due dates, and job completion in line with ANZ tax requirements and company policy
- Create, review, and maintain purchase orders in accordance with approved requisitions
- Prepare scheduled and ad-hoc payment runs, ensuring timely settlement of supplier invoices
- Set up and maintain supplier master data, including bank details and payment terms validation
- Manage supplier statement reconciliations and resolve invoice discrepancies or disputes within agreed SLAs
- Review and process employee expense claims and corporate card reconciliations in line with policy
- Provide timely updates to local Finance teams on AP risks, accrual requirements, and month-end cut-off considerations
To Be Successful In The Role, You Will Have
- A degree in Accounting or Finance
- 12 years of experience in Accounts Payable, P2P, or a similar finance role (fresh graduates with strong attitudes and relevant internship experience are welcome to apply)
- Solid Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)
- Strong written and spoken English, with confidence communicating with ANZ stakeholders and suppliers
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong accountability and ownership mindset
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach
