Job Description
- Generate creative concept, develop and implement packaging solutions for clients that protect and preserve products during transportation, storage and handling within countries regulatory requirement.
- To work closely with graphics team on how best to illustrate the design via a manufacturable solution.
- Identify, evaluate and select ideal packaging materials.
- Work on reducing packaging-related costs and improving the efficiency of the product packaging process.
- Monitor industry trends and innovations to stay updated with best practices and technologies for packaging.
- Generate virtual test simulation on the structure after passing design stage. To capture and feedback on the result.
- Generate improvement in design to best ensure success at physical ISTA testing.
- Analysing data and researching to improve the packaging process and implementing relevant solutions.
- Ensure consistency and quality of packaging across the organisation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in product designing, packaging or related engineering fields. Experience in performing product design for E&E, worked for brand owners. 3+ years of experience in packaging design and development. Creative, creative & creative! Strong creativity skills for developing unique packaging solutions using current trends. Good knowledge of packaging technology, materials and design principles with knowledge of testing methods, regulations and standards for packaging. Understanding of sustainability and environmental issues related to packaging.
