About Us

We are a padel club in Kuala Lumpur, building a vibrant community around sport, social experiences, and coaching. Our club is designed to be more than just courts — it is a place where players, families, and corporate communities connect through events, coaching programs, and social gatherings.

We are looking for an experienced Club Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the club and create an exceptional experience for members, guests, sponsors, and partners.

This role is ideal for someone with strong hospitality or sports club management experience, a great personality, and a passion for building communities through sport and events.

Role Overview

The Club Manager will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the padel club, ensuring smooth execution of activities, delivering outstanding customer experience, and driving engagement through events, marketing initiatives, and partnerships.

You will be the face of the club, managing staff, coordinating events, interacting with sponsors and guests, and ensuring the club operates at the highest standards.

This is a leadership role requiring operational excellence, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Club Operations and Management

  • Oversee the daily operations of the padel club
  • Ensure courts, facilities, and common areas are always clean, organized, and operational
  • Manage bookings, schedules, and member experience
  • Monitor operational performance and implement improvements
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and hospitality
  • Coordinate with coaches, maintenance teams, and partners
  • Handle operational issues and resolve member or guest concerns efficiently
  • Own and manage full P&L responsibility, including revenue growth, cost control, and margin optimization
  • Oversee end-to-end financial performance, ensuring alignment with business targets and profitability goals

Event Management

  • Plan and execute club events, tournaments and social gatherings
  • Organize corporate events, private bookings, and community activities
  • Coordinate event logistics, scheduling, and staffing
  • Work with partners and sponsors to deliver successful events
  • Ensure events create strong engagement and community growth
  • Manage event budgets and timelines

Examples of events: tournaments, corporate events, social events, Kids camps, brand and sponsor activations, themed club events and seasonal activities

Marketing and Communications

  • Manage club communications with members and guests
  • Coordinate social media and marketing activities
  • Work with marketing team or external agencies on campaigns
  • Create engaging club content and announcements
  • Manage newsletters, WhatsApp groups, and community communication
  • Support early bird campaigns, membership promotions, and partnerships
  • Maintain consistent club branding and messaging

Sponsors and collaborations

  • Act as the main contact for sponsors and partners
  • Coordinate sponsor activations and visibility at the club
  • Build strong relationships with members and stakeholders
  • Ensure sponsors receive proper exposure and engagement
  • Support partnership development and brand collaborations

Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, and manage club staff
  • Schedule staff shifts and responsibilities
  • Supervise front desk, operations, and event teams
  • Ensure team delivers excellent service
  • Create a positive and motivated working environment
  • Conduct performance monitoring and staff development
  • Maintain discipline, professionalism, and teamwork

Community and Member experience

  • Build a strong and welcoming padel community
  • Engage with players and members daily
  • Ensure a friendly and energetic club atmosphere
  • Collect feedback and improve club experience
  • Support leagues, social play, and member engagement
  • Act as the ambassador of the club culture

Requirements

Experience

  • 3–7+ years of experience in club management, sports facility, hospitality, or operations
  • Experience managing events and teams
  • Experience in customer-facing environments
  • Background in sports clubs, gyms, tennis clubs, padel clubs, or hospitality is a strong advantage
  • Experience with marketing or community engagement is a plus
