Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Paediatric Physiotherapist role based in Cyberjaya. The Paediatric Physiotherapist will assess children's motor skills, posture, strength, and functional abilities, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs and goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering fun, engaging therapy sessions, monitoring progress, updating documentation, and adjusting interventions as needed. The role involves collaborating with caregivers, teachers, and other therapists to support consistent strategies across home, school, and clinic settings. The Paediatric Physiotherapist will also contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions, provide education to families, and participate in service development and quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Recognized degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and full professional registration/licensure as required by local regulations.
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in paediatric physiotherapy, including assessment and treatment of motor, developmental, and movement-related challenges.
- Knowledge of evidence-based paediatric assessment tools, treatment approaches, and goal-setting frameworks (e.g., functional, play-based, and family-centered interventions).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children of different ages and to work respectfully with families from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech-language therapists, educators, and other professionals.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage caseloads, maintain accurate clinical records, and meet reporting requirements.
- Commitment to child safeguarding, ethical practice, and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development, supervision, and training in paediatric therapy approaches.
- Comfort with using basic digital tools and clinical software for documentation, scheduling, and communication.
- Previous experience in a paediatric clinic, school, or community setting is an advantage but not mandatory; new graduates with a strong paediatric interest are encouraged to apply.
