About The Role
We are looking for a
Paid Dealer's Representative to join our team at RHB Bank. In this role, you will handle trade execution for retail equities, grow the client base through sales activities, and manage client portfolios while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
- Execute trades for local and foreign retail equities broking business.
- Carry out sales and marketing activities to acquire new clients.
- Manage clients portfolios by providing regular market updates and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Promote and cross-sell the Bank's related products to meet clients investment and financial needs.
- Participate in marketing and promotional activities organized by branch management and support smooth execution of events.
- Review and manage clients credit limits based on collateral, financial standing, and track record for both new and existing clients to minimize contra losses and strengthen risk management.
- Take reasonable steps to understand clients backgrounds, including investment objectives, financial background, and source of funds, to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Ensure adherence to rules and regulations set by the Securities Commission, Bursa Malaysia, Bank Negara Malaysia, and other relevant governing bodies in the stockbroking industry.
What We're Looking For
- Degree or relevant professional qualification in finance, business, or a related field.
- Experience in equities dealing, stockbroking, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Strong sales, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of equity markets and retail investment products.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements within the Malaysian capital markets environment.
- Client-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
