Job Description
- Responsible for Health, Safety and Environment and comply with ISO 14001 requirements
- Responsible for all field/control room activities in the stock preparation area from pulping area to final storage area and reject handling system.
- Visual inspection and field monitoring for all process equipments in the stock preparation area and reject handling system.
- Working together with shift maintenance technicians to address any maintenance related issue in the production area.
- Responsible for 5S for the entire stock preparation area
- Assist Boardman to achieve stock quality and production efficiency requirement.
- Responsible for production cleanliness and ensure housekeeping is properly done during shift.
- Responsible to review checklist.
- Ensure all equipment has been properly field checked and is ready for operation prior to each Plant Start-up
- Field check during shutdown and start up activities.
- Carry out pulp quality tests for stock preparation area.
- Any ad-hoc task assigned by superior
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in the pulp and paper industry or related industry, demonstrated ability to be a supervisor and leader. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written Experienced in computer skill (Excel, word and outlook) Team player with problem solving skill
