Job Description
- To control and ensure Raw Water Treatment Plant (RWTP) running in smooth and good operational by fulfill and meet production requirement without failure.
- To meet all standard and quality water supply as per production required.
- To comply with government bodies regulation and standard application such as DOE (Department of Environment) and DOSH (Department of Safety and Health).
- To control and arrange manpower job accordingly by meeting production needs.
- To lead the shift team to control, observe, operating & monitoring RWTP plant running smoothly and good operational
- To do consumptive inventory for raw materials/ parts chemicals, machinery spare parts
- To manage and control shift tech in term of attendances, job delegation, disciplinary
- To record and summary usage data/ reporting daily, weekly and monthly
- Trouble shooting/ improvement plan/ implementation/ cost saving activity
- Staff technical knowledge training & enhancement
- 5fs planning activity for utility plant staff and safety awareness.
- Preventive maintenance planning/ implementation daily, weekly and monthly.
- To lead the team to perform housekeeping regularly and ensure plant in good manner.
Requirements
- Possess minimum of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field
- Preferably those with minimum of 3 years working experience in heavy industries
- Have experience in setting up new plant is an added advantage
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Good analytical mind, critical thinking and hands-on skills
- Good in managerial and leadership skills
- High commitment, fast learner and high responsibilities are required
- Good in oral and written command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
