Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and customer-focused Parking Attendant to support the daily operations of a modern, automated parking facility. The role involves monitoring parking systems, assisting customers with digital payments, ensuring compliance with operational procedures, and maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute theft prevention procedures and ensure the safety of vehicles within the parking facility
- Monitor and report any suspicious or unlawful behaviour to the Supervisor and Security Personnel
- Operate and oversee automated parking systems, including ANPR, ticketless entry/exit, and access control barriers
- Assist customers with digital payment methods (e.g. credit/debit cards, QR payments, mobile applications, NFC)
- Verify and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the parking management system
- Manage enforcement activities, including handling complaints related to clamped vehicles
- Resolve payment disputes and failed transactions in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure strict adherence to the company's zero cash handling policy
- Report incidents, irregularities, or abnormal occurrences within the parking area promptly
- Support maintenance activities such as parking bay line painting and minor upkeep works as required
- Carry out any other lawful duties assigned by the immediate superior
Job Requirement
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification
- Prior experience in parking operations, customer service, or facility management is an advantage
- Basic understanding of automated systems and digital payment platforms
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Ability to handle challenging customer situations calmly and professionally
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors and on shift schedules (including weekends and public holidays)
- Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to follow standard operating procedures and compliance requirements
