Part Time Lecturer - Broadcasting / Media and Communication Studies (Diploma)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching & Learning

• Undertake teaching and teaching-related duties such as design, preparation, and development of teaching materials conduct classes/lectures, tutorials, and practicals consultation with students, invigilation, marking, and assessment
• Establish and maintain high standards of teaching and effective learning to meet the College's teaching and learning expectations

Administration and Other Activities

• Participatein administrativeactivities related to teaching & learning, and examination-related matters
• Contribute to student enrichment activities and school committees as and when required

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess Master and/or a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant area of specialisation and/or teaching qualification in Broadcasting or Media and Communication Studies.

• Minimum two (2) years of teaching experience. Industry experience would be of added advantage.
• Preferred teaching expertise in Broadcasting additional proficiency in areas such as Advertising, Journalism, and/or Public Relations would be an added advantage.
• Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including the effective use of IT technologies in the facilitation of teaching and learning. Able to use software blended in the teaching is preferred
• Proven ability to develop effective teaching methodologies and learning materials, incorporating IT tools and technologies, including film editing software, to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
• Experienced in student mentorship and client coordination within industrial project settings.
