About the Role
Elevate your career at the intersection of AI innovation and Strategic Business Development. We are seeking a proactive Partner Development Representative to join our Global Strategic Partners team in Kuala Lumpur.
This is not a traditional SDR role; it is a hybrid position combining AI-focused lead generation, partner co-creation, and technical solution presentation. You will work with global partners and convert real-world AI use cases into revenue. Reporting to a remote manager, this role demands high ownership, self-discipline, and the ability to drive results independently.
Key Responsibilities
- AI-Focused Lead Generation: Drive initiatives for AI MaaS (Model-as-a-Service) and identify partners across multiple regions (≥2–3 countries).
- Partner Co-Creation: Use AI tools to learn company solutions and co-explore AI use cases with partners to meet market needs.
- Technical Presentation: Deliver high-level presentations of solutions, showcasing your emerging presales capabilities.
- Operational Excellence: Dedicate 20% of your time to partner onboarding, program communication, and policy support.
What You Bring (Qualifications)
- Experience: 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Career Background: Previous experience in SDR, sales, or presales is highly preferred (Please note: Fresh graduates will not be considered for this specific role).
- Technical Agility: A degree in CS, AI, or Information Systems is preferred, or prior experience in Cloud/SaaS. Non-technical candidates must show a rapid ability to learn technical concepts.
- Global Research Skills: Proven ability to use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator to map partner ecosystems across multiple countries.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent English is mandatory; basic Chinese comprehension is a significant advantage.
- Work Authorization: Must be able to work daily from our Bangsar South City office.
