Job Summary

We are looking for a Payment Operations personnel to drive and optimize our payment operations across global markets.

This role focuses on ensuring payment systems run smoothly, efficiently, and at scale. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to localize, implement, and optimize payment operations in different markets.

This is a high-impact role with direct exposure to global expansion and performance-driven incentives.

Job Responsibilities

1. Strategy Execution & Localization

  • Execute global payment strategies and adapt them to local market conditions
  • Localize payment workflows, processes, and user experience
  • Translate business goals into clear execution plans and track performance
  • Drive KPIs such as transaction volume, success rate, and merchant performance

2. End-to-End Payment Operations

  • Manage the full lifecycle of payment operations (integration, go-live, optimization)
  • Coordinate with product, tech, compliance, and BD teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks across payment flows
  • Continuously improve system performance and operational efficiency

3. Operational Growth & Optimization

  • Monitor key metrics (success rate, latency, retention, complaints)
  • Optimize merchant onboarding, activation, and retention processes
  • Support business growth by improving operational scalability
  • Identify improvement opportunities through data and market insights

4. Compliance & Risk Control

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations (AML, data protection, payment rules)
  • Support audits and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor transaction risks and ensure proper fund flow and reconciliation
  • Maintain operational stability and risk control mechanisms

Requirements

Must Have

  • 3–5+ years experience in payment, fintech, or related industries
  • Experience in payment operations, product operations, or project execution
  • Strong understanding of payment workflows (transaction flow, settlement, reconciliation)
  • Data-driven with strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to travel for market support when required

Good to have

  • Experience in payment gateway / e-wallet / banking integration is a strong advantage
