Job Descriptions

OS and Application patching on Windows and Linux Operating Systems using the appropriate tools WSUS, Landscape Canonical and etc.

Managing backup and restore functions pre patching process.

OS Upgrades on Windows and Linux environments.

Ability to perform OS and application patching on both Windows and Linux environment.

Ability to navigate SCOM as a day-to-day monitoring tool.

Leading a team of patching engineers to achieve a common goal.

Read and write data from a variety of file types, load prebuilt script modules, program functions, and perform basic administrative tasks using PowerShell and Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), such as extracting information about remote machines

Contribute to the maintenance of team dynamics to ensure continued high performance by providing feedback to the infrastructure team.

Create and update documentation including daily and weekly progress reports.

Ability to conduct monthly meetings for service review with key stakeholders.

Create Incident, Service Request and Change Request tickets via ITSM.

Respond to email alerts and assigned ITSM tickets providing timely status updates to relevant parties.

Review and update business SLA's documents.

Requirements:

Bachelor's in computer science or related discipline.

>5 years relevant working experiences in Windows/Linux patching technology

Holder of ITIL Foundation or above is a plus.

Experience with RPA Software (e.g. UI Path) advantageous

Experience in PowerShell/Unix scripting is a must

Basic understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems

Self-motivated, quick learner, Can-do attitude and able to work under pressure.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is a plus.

Knowing in virtualization (VMware) technology is a plus.

Standard office hours working hours with possibility of weekend standbys.
